SuperTarget to the Rescue!
I am so freakin' happy! I did a Sunday toy run today, which means first stop is Toys R Us, next Big Lots, then Walmart and ending with SuperTarget. They are all on the same road within 5 minutes from one store to the next. TRU had the car for $29.99. How fail of them. Big Lots and Walmart didn't have it at all. I didn't really expect Big Lots to, but I was passing by anyway. And then came SuperTarget. I'm not even gonna lie, I did a little, "Yes, Yes!," dance in the isle. From $26.99 to $20.99 - that's good enough for me. Even if it sells for less later, I didn't want to take the risk on missing out.
I was so happy at saving money that I bought one of the on sale ($9.98) clothing sets that comes with a free accessory pack, so I saved even more!
I heart you SuperTarget.
Great finds! The more I see this car, the more I want it.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me, hitting all the spots around me. You did real good on the car and the outfits--bonus!!
ReplyDeleteNice find..I still want it :O)
ReplyDeleteYeah! Wonderful you got the car! Isn't it cool! I am so happy with my car and Monster High doll! I rebodied her and she looks fab! Gonna post pics tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThanks Frannie, Brini, Dollz4Moi and Chynadoll! I've been playing with it all night. I don't know why it's such fun, but it is.
ReplyDeleteHi from Spain, How lucky you have so many shops with so many toys. I think I´ll have to go and live in your city... but in the end ruin me buying toys... ja, ja...! For example in Spain do not open Sunday shopping. The law forbids it. I love the Mini cooper all the time. You have it all there. The clothing is also great and did not know. Every time I go to your blog is fantastic to see the pisctures os what is sold there. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteHi Marta. If you cant live here, you can always come for a visit and we can go shopping and come back to my place and take photos of everything we bought!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain again, thank for your invitation but for now will not be. You know: work, home, children, husband... obligations on all sides. In the end I hope i win the lottery and i will go to America... ja, ja... keep in touch
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm glad you didn't have to wait long. My car has been on my bed the past few days. Not in the doll studio where it's supposed to be. But this way I get to look at it more often. I'm normally a wait for sale person, too, but this was one item I didn't even balk at paying full price. It was well worth it.
ReplyDelete*LOL* Mine is currently living on my breakfast bar. And then when I'm at my desk I sit it on the corner. I'm constantly moving it around and wheeling it back and forth. I'd say we need to get out more, but I'd just take the car with me.
