Articulated Nikki Fashionista on Sale

If you are looking for some cheap AA articulated bodies, Amazon has Nikki currently on sale for $6.11 and $7.55 depending on the version. There is a cap on the quantity so you can only get 3 in your first order. You'll also have to pay for shipping if you don't have Prime. Prices change randomly at Amazon so don't be surprised if they've gone up by the time you read this.

And nope I don't work for Amazon or Mattel, I just like cheap, freshly packaged dolls.

      I hear that if the price falls further in a few days of your purchase, you can contact Amazon customer service and they'll refund you the difference! Keep an eye on the price if you buy!

    Great prices! I just stocked up on these this past month from Mattel. I paid between 7 and 8.

    On another note, I've really enjoyed Prime. I'm not sure that I will be renewing considering the $20 price increase. It's probably still a good deal, but I have since gotten cable, and I haven't been watching the movies and the other shows like I had planned.

      If you have not changed your Prime renewal settings and turned the default automatic renewal off, you will be automatically renewed. I turned mine off after they informed of the increase. Not sure if I will renew. I have only benefitted from free shipping on select items and I don't order from Amazon.com enough to justify the cost of Prime. I rarely watch the movies because the free selection is not the best. My son benefits more from it, but he has moved into his own place. I will give him the option of paying for it, creating his own account, or paying half since he does not watch or even own to my knowledge TV or cable.

      Vanessa, I still have 11 months to go before I get hit with the $20 increase. Since I don't have cable or do any Netflix or Hulu Plus stuff, I'm probably going to keep the prime for the movies and tv shows. Even if I get cable later I'd probably still pay because I like not seeing commercials.

      Muff - I was all set to renew at $79. I was supposed to buy a SmartTv so I could use Amazon on my tv, but that is just not top on my list. So I will let it renew and maybe renew if I ever get that SmartTv.

    Great to know; can't believe I didn't see this last night when I was on. Of course Amazon's more interested in getting me to buy power tools than dolls right now, so go figure! PS: Unrelated but I shrank my first head! It turned out fabulous and I really gotta thank you for sharing your experiments.       Tina, Amazon can only seem to do recommendations on recent history. If you want a good deal you have to go hunting.

      Haha yeah it is! The only thing it's lacking is cheap/diverse dolls and stuff for doll crafts. All the cool companies seem to be in USA.

    I just got mine the other day in the mail i bought 3 of the pink dress Nikki's and 1 glitter wave Nikki. I got mine for cheaper tho, $5.55 for pink Nikki and $5.67 for glitter. I had to stock up on bodies some of my girls needed it!

    Thanks for the heads up, Muff. At one time shopmattel.com had them for around $8 and there was a free shipping code only eligible for orders of $25 or more. I had planned to order several since the articulated bodies are supposed to be discontinued, but the price inched up to $11.99 before I ordered. The Amazon.com price is better especially for Prime members, so let me scoot on over and order a few.

      Debbie, I checked Mattel before I ordered from Amazon, but nope, they were still $11 at Mattel. I thought that was weird since they are the company offering them at Amazon.

    Thanks for sharing this news, Muff! Is the glitter Nikki doll on the left a little darker than the doll on the right? I'm thinking about which dolls I have on stiff bodies would benefit from this sale. Thanksl

      D7ana, the dolls have arrived and the Glitter Doll IS slightly darker than the Lips Dress doll. It's not much of a tone difference, but it is noticeable. Glitter Nikki is also dryer looking than Lips. It's like Lips Nikki is glowing and Glitter Nikki... needs lotion.

      The price has gone up now though, so I wont be getting anymore. Glitter is now $8.34 and Lips is now $12.99 which is a ridiculous price.

      Billa, I hear tell that a blow dryer on low heat is the best way to remove a doll head. I just stick a finger nail file under the head and yank 'em off myself.
