Moxie Girlz 50% Off!

I was in Walmart and all their Moxie Girlz stuff is 50% off. I don't know if this is store wide or only in my little corner of the world. Just in case, if you ever wanted some MG stuff, now's the time.

I didn't buy anything because I'm being good about saving money. If it gets to 70% off though I'm sure I wont be able to resist.

Check out this {old post} to see how Moxie Girlz clothing fits various body types.

  1. Thank you for the tip! I'm not that interested in Moxie Girls, but I am interested in some of those accessories!

  2. I checked Walmart out today to see their deals on back to school purchases for my godchildren but I didn't see that sale here in Montreal. Then again, it's not like they(or any store around here actually)stocked enough Moxie dolls and sets for there to be anything to need to put on sale. If I didn't visit doll-related blogs, I'd have no idea those dolls ever existed. I only started seeing Liv dolls a little before they were discontinued :-( .

    1. Maricha, Moxie stuff doesn't seem that popular to me but there is always plenty of it at my stores. Someone must be buying! Ah the great era of Liv dolls. It shall be missed.

    1. Georgia Girl, I surely did want that ice cream bike but even at half off I had to leave it behind. I'm out of space and broker than a mutha.

  10. Holy cow! I'd wondered if Moxies were being phased out and if this was the time to pick up a few.

I've got to go to Walmart tonight or tomorrow, so thanks for the heads-up.

  11. I love the mini Moxie girls. I wish they'd make more versions. They are so adorable.

You are doing well holding out, Muff. I have to agree, 50% doesn't get me unless it's something I wanted already and was watching and it's very hard to get. But 70% or higher is my sweet spot.

    1. Janainah, if I wasn't broke then 50% is usually my go to percentage. When I'm scrounging for pennies though, 50% just makes me say, "Trick, please."

  12. I wish we have Moxie Girls in Manila, and that price! The cheapest dolls I could buy here are clone dolls from China or the unarticulated budget Barbie dolls, which I'm not fond of because I like Monster High or Ever After High more.

Way to go on the saving!

    1. Thanks, Jamie. Monster High and Ever After stuff rarely seem to go on sale here. Maybe like twice a year if you're lucky enough to come across it.

    3. My local toy stores have Monster High, not Ever After High but because it's imported, it's pretty expensive. We have MH sales here sometimes, but getting the doll over there in America is definitely much cheaper. My sister in NY will be buying one for me and she's going to visit our family soon so I'm excited.

  13. Our Walmart never got any more Moxie Girlz this past year. I did see a companion line to the Poopsie Pets dolls at Tuesday Morning, recently, though. There were three dolls, each in a hooded pajama costume, and each set had a cardboard image of the pet that was supposed to correspond to the doll. They were pretty cute, but the question of why they were tied to the Poopsie Pets nags at me.

If the local shop had the painter or baker sets of Moxie's, I'd have to have them for $9! Great deals!

    1. Presto, I think I recall seeing that second Poopsie release at Target and they had different animals than the first versions. I still wasn't interested though, lol.

  14. It's interesting to see what prices different countries pay for dolls. I saw the icecream bike for the first time today and it was $59. It was also the only Moxie item available. I must admit if I saw it for $17 I might be tempted.

    1. Carrickters, I can only assume your country has a higher cost of living because that is a ridiculous price! I was too cheap for $35. $59 would have made my head explode.

  15. Sometimes it pays to read a blog late. I missed this sale, which is probably good. I would have probably caved on the $5 dolls and possibly the ice cream bike, too. I've been wanting that since it first came out.

Very interesting story blog you have! I like that format of having dolls tell their story.

I got an email from you in late March and responded then. I'm going to send you one right now and see if you get it..... *sending*

Okay I sent it! Thanks again for helping me with the Facebook. I figured it out and joined but did nothing with it after that, lol.
