AA Power Team Guys in Stock?

I've been travelling a lot for work the last few months and in a small Florida town called Avon Park, I saw these guys in a Big Lots.

Way over a year ago, Ms. Leo posted about finding them in her area and this is the first time I've ever come across them. Either this store is super outdated or the guys are now being released in Florida maybe?

I've never bought anything at Big Lots without there being a 20% sale or having a $5 coupon and I really didn't want to pay 15 whole dollars. But I didn't want to risk them not being in my home town so I sucked it up and got the last two guys since I like their accessories the most. Good thing I did because they are not in my stores. In fact, my stores aren't even carrying ANY Power Team 1:6 dudes anymore, just the 1:12 stuff. Whew, glad I grabbed some.

    1. Phyllis, I hope the 1:6 PT guys make a come back. Christmas is right around the corner so they should be getting some new merchandise in.

  2. Great guys & accessories, good you got them, if it's old stock maybe you wouldn't find them anymore!

    1. Yeah, Night Owl, so far the consensus is that it was probably old stock. The accessories do look cool!

  3. I am glad you grabbed them too, Muff. I would have grabbed all since my store is like your hometown store. It hasn't carried any 1:6 scale guys of any ethnicity in a couple of years or more.

    1. Debbie, you know I'm way too cheap to pay $60! It was hurting me to pay $30. They are worth it though.

  4. Awesome outfits and accesories! I'm glad you bought 2 of them. The last boy is really cute, and if I understand correctly they are fully bendable.

    1. Sergio, I guess the AA and Asian are the hardest to find. Good thing you got a dealer though.

    1. Thanks, Georgia Girl! I guess they just aren't being released anymore if you haven't seen them in years.

  9. Cool find! Congrats! You do need to grab the ethnic Power Team guys when you see them. I haven't been to BigLots! for some time so I don't know if we have any new guys here.

I have seen the first three before. I'm glad you got them; they're totally worth the investment.

  10. Hi Muff! I believe you did the right thing to grab them, the two you picked have interesting face sculpts.

    1. Hiya, Billa! I do like that they have different faces. That's one of the things I'm going to miss about Power Team releasing new guys. They were generous with different face molds.

  11. You are a wise woman, Muff. These guys are not in Atlanta-area stores, and I don't think they have been for at least a couple of years. I especially like the second to last guy. He reminds me of a guy I used to date : )

    1. LOL, Jewell. I hope those were some pleasant memories that conjured up when you saw the doll version of the guy you previously dated.

  13. Great that you found them! I was hoping to see some new head sculpts. I see that they are now 15.00. I can wait to see what you do with them.

    1. Ms. Leo, they did have some that were $12, but they had less accessories and none were AA. I checked the Power Team website and it hasn't been updated sine 2004, so who knows if we'll ever see any more face sculpts.

  20. Congrats! I've been dying for that second guy. I need a new Rod, too because my Rod has had a broken leg for a couple of years now.

    1. Dang, Vanessa! I wish I would have known that your Rod was broken, because I purposefully didn't buy that doll because he was "your Rod." I will always equate that doll as belonging with Danielle. I'm not likely to pass through Avon Park again, but if I ever see him in another store, I'll definitely get him for you.
