Tuesday Morning Wild Adventure

A Video:

The sound is horrible but I couldn't fix it. Le sigh.

  1. I bought this doll when I saw him, as well as the deer hunter dude. I thought they were great, I just haven't had time to debox them. I am still looking for the other two that come in the set, the one that was in your video. Your Tuesday Morning has a great selection!

    1. Lisa, the Tuesday Morning closest to me does have the best selection. The others I went to have drastically reduced their play toy section. They still have the baby toys though.

  2. I never think to look in Tuesday Morning, but maybe I will next time I'm out! Great review..the audio isn't that bad and the captions are nice! I might try that on some of my toy hunting videos as I don't like to talk loudly when I'm in the store, haha. He looks like a pretty nice doll. :)

    1. Farrah Lily, I was kind of whispering because there were people in the isle. Since I had my headphones on I didn't notice the a/c was so noisy. Adding captions takes a long time. I've yet to find a app that does it easily and well.

  3. I got 4 of these guys in 2015 from Amazon. I have the Bear, Deer and Duck hunters as well as the Fisherman. I did change out the gloved hands on the Bear Hunter and the feet on the feet on the Duck Hunter using my handy dandy Dremmel and some Duck tape. The Duck hunter's boots are harder to use with other outfits, so that is one reason I went ahead and change his feet. There is also a Turkey hunter who has gloved hands, but I didn't get him. They are pretty hunky guys, but I agree that they have some limitations with their articulation, but it is not too bad. Loved your review!

    1. Wow, thanks Phyllis! I just found them all on Amazon just like you said. I would like that Duck Hunter Deluxe but he is the most expensive at $20. They sure come with some nice accessories.

  4. Are those Project MC2 a reedition or something? I have both that Adrienne and McKeyla and they are way more detailed. They also cost me arount 30$. That doll that you got seems quite detailed, Mattel could learn a thing or two from this!

    1. Monster, I don't follow Project girls so I'm not sure. I did think there were different price versions for fully articulated ones versus a standard body.

  5. I saw the deer hunter guy in this line the last time I was in TM. I looked at him, but didn't have the extra cash for him in addition to the other stuff I was getting. If I'd seen the fisherman I'd have been more tempted though. That fishing pole is sweet and he's decently done for $8.

  6. Na...I think I will pass on this one. With the face marks, seamed arms and no feet I am a bit turned off. Other than that I think he is pretty cool. Thanks for letting me know what I would be getting into!

    1. I like my male dolls a little craggly, Grandmommy, but I totally understand you not being in to him.

  7. Oh, my delicate eyeballs! :) I enjoyed watching your video. This is a pretty good looking dude. I really like the fishing rod. It is a real annoyance to me when companies make figures look like they have double jointed knees when they don't. I mean, if you're not going to make the knees double jointed, then you can give him more realistic looking knees!

    1. Yeah, Roxanne, I'm not a fan of knees like that. My dolls don't spend a lot of time walking around nekkid, but I still like their joints to look nice.

  8. Fantastyczny wędkarz! Jest przystojny, dobrze zbudowany i absolutnie rewelacyjny, szczególnie za tę cenę!
Obejrzałam cały film, dziękuję za porównanie z Barbie.
    Pozdrowienia!

  9. I think his outfit looks pretty cool. But the figure itself--with the cuts on his face and the creepy stare--kind of creeps me out a bit. And you know, I just hate this molded hair.

    1. LOL, April. I enjoy creepy dolls so maybe that's why he appeals to me.

  10. Adventure guy would have a good body if those shoes could come off. I don't understand why toy manufacturers make permanent clothes attachments. That drives me crazy!

    1. I agree Jaye, but in his defense, I will say he is an "action figure" not a "doll, doll" as Whoopie might say. Still, peg feet = annoying.

  11. Thanks for telling us about these action figures. I like a rougher face on some male dolls. All the guys can't be Kens :D I like the props too.

    1. LOL, Maricha. A world of metrosexual Kens is not that interesting. I like to mix it up now and again.

  12. Thanks for sharing this news and the photos. Nice guy! I like. Nice to see he's got "junk in his trunk," lol. (The Hot Toys guys that I have do, too. Full butts.) Congrats on getting him.

    1. My pleasure,D7ana! Action figures got to be ready for battle. I'm sure big, cushy butts help with that. All those squats they be doing.

    2. LOL at the thought of action figures doing squats. Go dudes!

  13. Very nice video as always! I have not seen him at Tuesday Morning. I need to find a place to get hands. Do you by chance know of a place?
