Justin Bieber Carnage!

I finally got around to opening up the 3 versions of the JB dolls that were available at Big Lots on Black Friday.  I wanted to see if the tops would fit John Cho (1 did, 2 were so small I gave them to the girls).  Never have I had such a difficult time getting anything open!  My goodness, what horrible packaging.  I'm very meticulous when I open stuff as I like to save everything in case I can re-purpose it later.  After getting the first one open I gave up on that.  The back was even perforated to make it "easier" to open.  Lies!

Anyway, the shirts have already been passed onto other dolls, but here are the other accessories.

These hats will fit a Fashionista Ken, but they are a little big for Basics unless they have thick hair.

The belt and buckle sewn into the pants was a surprise.  I like it.  These pants are short though.  They will fit a World Peacekeeper only if he's wearing boots or Beiber shoes.  They will fit a Ken if you like his pants to hang low. :(

Beiber shoes are always the same style, just different colors.  The shades will fit a Monster perfectly, but not a LIV if she is wearing her wig.

I didn't know that this doll was partially articulated, including his feet.  Even so, I can't see me using this body because the neck just turns around and there is no articulation at the wrists.  I tried to introduce one of them to Clawdeen Wolf and she just gave me this look as if to say, "Really?  Are you serious?"  I guess I'll be putting these bodies in the "spare parts" box in my closet.

  2. Hello from Florida :)
The shoe box comes with the doll, Marta. They open up and the shoes actually fit inside.

  3. I love the hats, cellphone and glasses :) I saw these dolls in TRU and was not impressed with them lol. They are really short and I am running out of room in my "spare parts" box in my closet. I passed up on getting them and so glad I did!

  4. Hi Chynadoll. Unless you can get one of his dolls for $7.99 or under then I don't think it's worth it, as that is the cheapest fashion pack you can get. Luckily I got these for $7.00 so I thought it was a good deal for an outfit.

  5. My JB doll is still boxed. Love all the accessories. I bought him to use as is. I have a collection of teens growing and plan on doing a teen storyline in the future. I love that he is articulated. Surprisingly, so are 2 of my other teenage guys.

  6. I only have one "teen" on display, my Clawdeen Wolf. All the other dolls I consider of age. If you know someone who wants 3 naked Beibers I'd be happy to send them their way.

    1. Ms. Leo, at first I thought that Blogger was just now sending me your comment from last year, but I was like, "No, wait, she wrote '2013'."

Big Lots did get another different set of 3 Biebers mid April of 2012 I think, but I didn't get any because I was waiting for a 20% off sale. They are FINALLY having one this weekend. However, the dang Biebers have gone up from $10 to $12. I hate when Big Lots raises prices. It just seems wrong.

  8. Cool post. Thanks for sharing the information about the JB dolls' sizes. I love the accessories for him. Hardly ever see shoe boxes for guys. Thanks for the information regarding which other dolls can wear JB fashions.

My Kens are sneering about the pants' length ... they are tired of hearing how sissified their clothes are, so I guess that makes them a little mean sometimes. Sigh. They do like the hats though. Especially my blond Fashionista who is our hat-wearing guy.

    1. Hi, D7ana! JB makes the BEST male clothing. I think there is a Cody doll made by the same company so he has nice clothes too.

I save the JB pants for Power Team guys and the ladies. They look good on Moxie Teenz and Fashionistas. Ken is just upset because his Mattel pants are so tight.

    2. I agree that the Ken pants are too tight, and have you seen the akward length of the latest fashionista Ken and ryne dolls. My mom was all like wat actual guy would wear such a length lol

    3. Purplecandy, I'm not a fan of tight pants on men or tight dresses on women. But, that seems to be what Mattel likes.
