Thanks for taking the time to film this. I've been to antique fairs that had doll shows or sections within them but never to an event that was only about dolls and featured so many different styles of dolls not just musty antiques! Did you enjoy yourself? I think your presentation must have been the most professional looking one though everything you filmed was beautiful. So many dolls! Just had a thought...no doll houses? Thanks again for the peek at the doll show.:-)
Maricha, I didn't see a single doll house and I never have at any show I've gone to. Given the size of my Barbie houses, I think houses would be too much trouble to transport and would limit your table space.
I did have a good time! I didn't buy anything but I always enjoy just seeing all the different kinds of dolls out there.
One young man did pay me the ultimate compliment of asking me if I worked for Mattel. When I said no and asked him why he asked me that, he said it was because my booth was so organized and polished. That made me smile so big, lol.
Dzięki tak dużo za zatrzymanie się, Olla. Film był tylko trochę o tym, co się dzieje i nie było tak wiele, że nie udało nam się zobaczyć, ponieważ byłem jedynym, w moim stoisku.
Yep, Carrickters they had two rooms and in the middle section they had doll appraisers and snacks. I think they had a raffle and other events but I was stuck at my booth, so I didn't see everything.
Janainah, it's glitchy, but it's up, lol. Yes, most of the doll shows I go to are 2.5 to 3 hours away. This doll show website list shows by state if you want to check them out. It's mostly for doll clubs, so you probably wont find any conventions there.
I did great, Chris! Keep checking the Florida section of the Doll Show website and hopefully something will be coming to your area. The Barbie Convention will be in downtown Jax this July, but from NW Florida to here is a looooong drive.

Ha! Knew it :-)
DeleteThanks for the glimpse into the doll show. I hope your sales were phenomenal.
ReplyDeleteI browsed your shop and liked your Facebook page. Good luck with continued sales.

Thanks a lot, Debbie! It was my best show yet.
DeleteYaasss!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo snaps, Sergio!
DeleteNothing like a doll show to make you want to spend money. Thanks for sharing the experience. I enjoyed the trip.
ReplyDeleteVanessa, I kept my money way way deep in my pocket. I learned my lesson from the first doll show where I spent everything I made and then some.
DeleteLoved seeing this - it's all the fun of the doll show without being tempted to buy everything! ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great sales day!
Thanks, jSarie. It was a great day indeed. ^_^
DeleteWspaniały film, który zrobił na mnie duże wrażenie! Piękne lalki! Dziękuję i pozdrawiam!

DeleteMakes me want to go and buy stuff like if money wasn't a problem.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Monstercrafts! If money wasn't a problem I would have bought many MANY things I saw that day.
DeleteI love these doll show peeks. Now, I'm anxiously waiting for the leftovers to be added to your online store- lol. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching, Jewell! I add stuff to the store every Monday (or that's the plan, lol).
DeleteVery nice!! Your videos are awesome! I was so hoping to see your display. I hope that you did well with your sells.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Georgia Girl! I showed my set up in the last video and figured it would be overkill in this one. I had great sales!
DeleteWow, two rooms - looks like it was an amazing show. I hope you sold lots.

Thanks, Porcelandia! I'm impressed with your great blog. I'm following you back.
DeleteOh! I see the store is up. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI really want to go to a doll show. There aren't any around here. The closets one I've seen is 2 hours away ever few months. One day I'll get to one.

DeleteThanks for sharing! I really wish I was closer so I could attend. The shows in NW Florida small and far between. Hope you did well!
