Hey, It's Harumika

I had a $3 off Toys R Us coupon about to expire and I used it to buy this mannequin.  It was on clearance as well, so I got it for $4.21.  I always stare at these things curiously when I'm in the store and I figured, "what the heck."  I think I really just wanted the wig, but found it's too small for a Barbie head. Oh, well.

If I was the clothes designing type I could see having one of these, but for now, I'll just put it in my accessories cart.

  1. I had bought one of these dolls months ago and also found one at the Thrift Store without the wig. Hopefully TRU's will have something that I want with the other two coupons I have.

  2. Hello from Spain, I bought a few months ago your Harumika thinking to make clothes for the Barbie but it turned out that only I can put the dummy I have also served. Keep in touch

  3. Hi Frannie, I got another coupon for TRU too. I'm trying to hold out for another clearance item.

  4. Marta, I tried to put some Barbie clothes on it but some of them were too small in the hips.

  5. I love those doll forms but never purchase any. You have given my reason to purschase them now, especially when I can get them on sale. Hmm, the just might work in "The Boutique".

  6. I always look at those packs, but the fact that they don't share Barbie's measures prevented me for buying them...

  7. Hey, Brini. I think if you can get one on sale it's a good addition to a collection.

  8. Hi, Rossetti. Because the legs cant close, it does make it difficult to try on some Barbie clothes.

  9. I have picked these up and put them back several times. I know the wigs are not scale for Barbie. I also wanted a couple of mannequins for a store setup. I may cave in after all. There were quite a few items to choose from at my TRU. I'll be back there picking up some stuff. They also sold the sets with the fabric you can use for these to change the look.

  10. Hi Dollz4Moi. I wasn't feeling it at first, but now it's sitting on the corner of my desk rocking an outfit.

  11. I have one too! I feel a little funny about the finishing of the fabric. Those big stitches are soo out front. I too tried using the wig for a Mattel doll. It is a very small wig!

  12. Hi Ms. Leo. I figured that these are marketed to kids, so maybe that's why the finish isn't as good as it could be, cause I noticed some of the Liv clothing has big stitches instead of stitched hems.

    1. Hi, Ms. Millie! I bet the designers among us can get some good use out of these types of mannequins.
